Your Faith story:  I'm a Lieutenant at the Millard Jail in Pearl River County. I have seen so many women locked behind bars that should never have been there if it hadn't been for the drugs that consumed their every waking moment. I saw two girls sentenced to Jacob's Well who had once been incarcerated under my supervision at the jail. And I watched. At the time, I was struggling with my own addiction. After those two women graduated Jacob's Well and I continued to watch them walk out their deliverance, I knew in my heart that something was different in Pearl River County and women were being healed and restored. More women walked out of the jail and directly over the threshold, so I decided to see for myself what it was all about. I began coming to devotions and over the course of a few short years, I was drawn like a moth to a flame to the love of Christ exuding from the Haynes family. I was leading at the jail and in ministry, yet I was bleeding. I was addicted to pain and the circumstances of my life had a huge hold of me, even though I was walking out my own salvation with fear and trembling before the Lord. I was hit one night at a devotion and God spoke, “Obligation or obedience?”. I knew then that I needed a place of healing for myself, a place to heal from my own addiction to the pain from my family being ripped apart at the seams that had me suicidal. I chose to move to Jacob's Well on December 25th, 2012 after dealing with my own heartache out in the world. I needed a quiet place where I could really hear from God and seek His face and direction for my life. I was only planning on staying a few nights and that turned into two years. Others call it Jacob's Well but I call it House of Refuge. I never left. My new family presented me with a graduation certificate of completion 6 months later and I continued to stay. I moved here for good in October, 2014 and I have no plans on leaving. I feel like my role in yanking wounded souls from jail cells and into the recovery center is divinely purposed.

Fun things I do: I love to fish in rivers and lakes, but I also understand the concept of fishing for men because you have to catch the fish before it is cleaned! I am a fisher of men (and women!).

Convey Truth! To me, that means whatever story that happens in our life, there is truth to it that only comes from the Promises of God. Everyone has some message of truth in them because they are on the earth due to God putting them here. Sometimes people don't live out their promises because they weren't taught to look at the truth past the lies.  I want to show people how to convey the TRUTH!!
